| Breaking News |  | Seattle, Detroit Swap Players Tuesday, February 7th, 2012: According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Seattle Reign and the Detroit Fury. As part of the deal, the Reign swapped 26-year-old starting pitcher John Danks to the Fury getting 29-year-old starting pitcher J.A. Happ in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team.
In his career numbers Danks has compiled a 18-10 record with a 3.55 ERA in 32 starts. |  | Brooklyn Trades Hill to Detroit for Laffey Tuesday, February 7th, 2012: The Brawlers and Fury confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Brooklyn will get 26-year-old starting pitcher Aaron Laffey, while Detroit will receive 31-year-old starting pitcher Rich Hill.

It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. New York will get 21-year-old minor league starting pitcher Arodys Vizcaino and Fayetteville will pick up 22-year-old minor league starting pitcher Taylor Jungmann in return.
